It's been confirmed that a Pokemon-focused Nintendo Direct special presentation will be streamed tomorrow, June 6th!
The stream will only last a total of 8 minutes... This may disappoint some with its short length, but it also implies a short, but sweet direct. With the overwhelmingly large Pokemon fanbase, a small announcement could still send ripples throughout the media.
All evidence points to a reveal of Pokemon Stars, the sequel to Pokemon Sun and Moon on Nintendo 3DS. Nintendo would be fools to release the game on the aged handheld system... The game must be a Nintendo Switch exclusive. It would be the first main series Pokemon game on a console. That announcement alone would send everyone to the shops to pick up a Nintendo Switch.
The possibilities of a Switch Pokemon game is endless; it could be a massive multiplayer online game and feature a heavy focus on co-op. The graphics of a console Pokemon game would be surreal.
The game will probably be playable and heavily demonstrated at the upcoming E3, where Nintendo, coincidentally, have the second largest stand.
Tune into the stream on Nintendo's YouTube or Twitch channels at 10 a.m. ET for the full reveal.
