Splatoon 2’s exciting single-player campaign has been revealed in this new trailer from the Nintendo Direct. The campaign seems to continue to work with fun and interesting ideas and concepts that carry levels like the first one did. Hopefully, the sequel manages to top the amazing boss battles of the first Splatoon. The campaign introduces new gameplay elements, new enemies, new weapons and more creative platforming.

The trailer also reveals the return of the cunning Octarians, the villains in the original Splatoon. Many wanted playable Octarians in the multiplayer modes, hopefully they can be playable as a completion reward for beating the campaign.

If the campaign is as good as or better than the original Splatoon single-player campaign, then the Nintendo Switch has another system-selling exclusive on its way.
