As we draw closer to the highly anticipated release of Nintendo and Game Freak's
Pokémon Sword and
Pokémon Shield, which will finally release for the Nintendo Switch this Friday the 15th of November, the developers still keep revealing new details about the highly anticipated title.
In a recent trailer released on the official Pokémon YouTube channel from Japan, Game Freak and Nintendo have officially revealed two brand-new Pokémon that will be available in the upcoming
Pokémon Sword and
Pokémon Shield.
No information on what type of Pokémon these new creatures are but, considering that the game will become available this week, fans will not have to wait too long to find out. Still, be sure to check out the final trailer for

Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield will be set in Galar, an expansive region with many environments—idyllic countryside, contemporary cities, thick forests, and craggy, snow-covered mountains. The people and Pokémon live together in this region, and they’ve worked together to develop the industries here.
Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield will be available for the Nintendo Switch on the 15th of November.
