Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu has revealed that Super Smash Bros. Brawl has reached the one million sales mark, just two weeks after its release in Japan for the Nintendo Wii.

The previous two best-selling Wii games, prior to Smash Bros. Brawl, were Wii Sports and Wii Fit. It took these two titles 11 and seven weeks, respectively, to reach the same one million copies sold milestone.

Even Super Mario Galaxy failed to sell similar numbers.

We'll have to see how it does with the US release, but it'll be tough to top the numpers that Japan just put up.
