Long before the Nintendo Switch, there was the Wii U, the successor of the Wii, the console with more than 101 million units sold worldwide. Ubisoft was one of a few publishers that tired to actively support the Wii U with a plenty of big-budget games, including Rayman: Legends and Zombie U. One of the titles that had a chance to become Ubisoft's next Just Dance was the scrapped Know Your Friends.
According to DidYouKnowGaming?, Know Your Friends was a multiplayer party game that had been developed by a Ubisoft team in Paris, which later went on to co-develop Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. Know was Jackbox-esque game that involved you answering questions about your friends such as "What does XYZ feel about most clothes being manufactured by workers under terrible conditions," "Has XYZ ever run over an animal by accident," or "In your opinion, does XYZ prefer gardening or DIY?"
As Liam Robertson outlines, players would use the camera on the Wii U's gamepad to create their avatars, with that avatar being displayed in-game via a wonderful cut-out artstyle. With great feedback from Ubisoft's higher-ups, the title was completed and kept for a later date when the Wii U had a bigger install base. As you can guess, that moment never happened and the game was finally cancelled.
