This shouldn't come as a big surprise after Microsoft and Nintendo already made peace and are planning on sharing the game service. Why playstation now? Apparently Microsoft is sharing its game service in hopes of expanding it the most it can to be able to compete with fellow cloud services. The company is already working in conjunction with PC game developers, why not add another console?

Microsoft sees a huge opportunity to share its service and have its own little share of all platforms, something that could assist the company down the line to not get pushed out by Google or Amazon. This deal has been supposedly going on for a while now according to some sources. Playstation is not really a team player in that sense, keep in mind it do not have a long time accepting cross-play.

Now, it seems this negotiation brings more to the table for Microsoft, what about Playstation? For sure Playstation will be satisfied with the possible millions of dollars this service could bring it. The only thing we know for sure right now is that this deal seems to be our biggest chance at removing all barriers between consoles. What is your opinion on this? Which console do you play with and are you hoping that the deal goes through? If more updates are presented, make sure to check here.
