Bandai Namco are taking their bug guns for this year's Gamescom as the lineup for the event has been revealed, at least partially. The news comes from
DualShockers, who have shared that Bandai Namco will be including "no less than eleven" playable titles at Gamescom 2018—which starts on the
21st of August and ends on the
25th of August.
The list of playable games by Bandai Namco are
Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker,
One Piece: World Seeker,
Code Vein,
Dragon Ball FighterZ for Nintendo Switch,
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown,
SoulCalibur VI, and the recently-announced
Jump Force. What's interesting here is that these are actually less than eleven titles, meaning that Bandai Namco will either reveal new games at the Gamescom, or are keeping some of these a secret for other unknown reasons.
One of the titles that may be missing is
11-11: Memories Retold, which is a World War I game that they have heavily advertised on social media—offering us glimpses of the process behind the making of the game. Another possible missing title is
Black Clover Quartet Knights, which is a third-person fantasy shooter, based on the
Black Clover anime, that has players teaming up and squaring off against other teams.
The other missing game is anybody's guess, although they could all end up being games that we don't know anything about and are to be announced at the 2018 Gamescom. Given that the event is a great time to show of some new games, it wouldn't be a surprise at least one of the 3 missing games is a brand new title, perhaps even a brand new IP.
