Earlier today we found out that a Taiwanese ratings board had listed Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, unoficially revealing that Activision and Toys For Bob were working on the rightful sequel to the Crash Bandicoot series; more in particular, the Naughty Dog-developed trilogy.
This information, while not officially confirmed by neither Activision nor Toys For Bob, also revealed that the game would be launching for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One; providing a synopsis that sets the game in 1998 — which is right after the events of Crash Bandicoot: Warped; the third game in the original series.
Other than that, not much else was revealed — which is to be expected, since this has not been officially announced just yet. However, Toys For Bob shared a post on their official Twitter account, revealing that more information about their next game will be shared on Monday the 22nd of June.
Since Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time still hasn't been officially announced, Toys For Bob decided to play coy and not actually reveal that this game is, well, the Crash Bandicoot game that was leaked by the Taiwanese ratings board; we all know this is the case, though.
Video game industry insider Daniel Ahmad also confirms that Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time would've been/will be revealed at the Summer Game Fest that will be taking place this Monday(shout outs to DualShockers for pointing us in the right direction) — so the game is, quite literally, all but officially announced at this point.
