Inspired by Quantic Dream's Heavy Rain and recent Detroit: Become Human, PlayStation 4 project Without Memory was revealed back in 2015. At that moment, the small Russian development team at Dino Games was looking for a major game company that would finance and release the complex title and it looks like this intriguing video game has ultimately failed to attract a big publisher’s attention.

"[..] we were not able to find a game publisher for Without Memory and the development has been frozen indefinitely. We would like to thank everyone who followed us and supported our team all this time," Dino Games announced. Although the title has been indefinitely canned, Dino hasn't decided to cancel the game yet, so they may resume the works on Without Memory one day.

Without Memory was supposed to have a non-linear story with situations that could be solved in several different way, just like Quantic Dream's offerings. Other features include Dino Games' original QTE system and interactive environment. While Without Memory stays in a frozen state, the team is working on an all-new video game already, which will be announced over the next few months.

Without Memory has been canned.
