NPD Group Analyst Mat Piscatella has recently shared a short list of the best-selling titles of the decade; considering titles that have made the most appearances on the NPD Group's sales chart during the past 10 years.

According to Piscatella, the information is still not final, since December's data has yet to be revealed. Nevertheless, the information likely won't change much, especially for those titles on the top 5 of best-selling games of the decade.

To the surprise of no one, the game with the most appearances on NPD Group's sales charts is Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto V with an impressive 74 appearances, followed in closely by Mojang's Minecraft with an equally impressive 73 appearances.

Nintendo's Mario Kart 8 takes thir third place with 37 appearances, Ubisoft's Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6 Siege in fourth place with 34 appearances and, last but not least, Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild with 30 appearances.

Piscatella also reveals that Grand Theft Auto V has been on the NPD Group's sales charts for 74 months out of 75 it's been available since its original release all the way back in September of 2013. Regarldess if you're a fan of Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto V, there is no denying the game is the most popular title released this decade.
