Vampire: The Masquerade—Bloodlines, one of the most beloved role-playing games of all time, released in 2004. 15 years after its original launch, Paradox Interactive is seemingly teasing its sequel.
The Stockholm-based publisher has recently launched a dating app called
Tender. While this spoof of
Tinder seems to work like every dating service ever made, there's a twist, as it doesn't actually try to set you up on a date. Instead, it asks your blood type before inviting you to match with people near you, and even its bloody logo is suggesting that the
Vampire: The Masquerade series is ready to return.
Considering that Paradox bought White Wolf (the publisher of
Vampire: The Masquerade games) in 2015, there's a rather big chance that the company is indeed working on a sequel to
Bloodlines. The fact that Chris Avellone, the true master of non-linear storytelling, who wrote the scripts for
Planescape: Torment and
Fallout: New Vegas, announced on March 1st that "
he just finished up work with Jedi: The Fallen Order - and beyond that, there's another big bomb dropping in a month," may suggest that he's also involved in development on the rumored next entry in the
Vampire series.
According to latest leaks, that
Vampire: The Masquerade—Bloodlines sequel could be officially revealed at this year's Game Developers Conference that that will take place March 18-22, 2019 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. In the meantime, be sure to take a closer look at the recently released concept art and screenshots from Paradox's yet unannounced video game down below:
