Lately, there have been a few
rumors doing the rounds that suggest Banjo-Kazooie may be making a comeback in some shape or form, and that we could be getting close to said reveal; with the E3 just around the corner, it is only natural to see rumors like these — but this one could have more to it.
According to the rumor, collectibles for both
Banjo-Kazooie and
Conker could be currently underway, as First 4 Figures was invited to the E3 by Microsoft; leading fans to believe that games for both of these neglected franchises could be announced during the event.
The latest rumor is suggesting that
Banjo-Kazooie is the series that is more likely to make a comeback, either in the form of a full-fledged new entry in the 3D platforming series, or as characters in Nintendo's critically acclaimed
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Here's where things get interesting, since Exquisit Gaming — a UK based merchandising company that makes geek and video game merchandise — has recently posted a picture of Banjo's bagpack, saying that they can't wait to bring the character back; revealing that they will officially make the announcement soon.
Some keen-eyed fans have noticed that Banjo's backpack seems to be a redesign, and one that features a similar stitching to some other characters featured in
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate — which sounds like a little bit of a stretch, but somewhat a bit more plausible than Micrisoft's Rare revealing a new game.
Again, take this information with a pinch of salt since this rumor has been circulating the internet lately. We'll just have to wait to see if it's just about a redesigned
Banjo-Kazooie collectible, a figure based on a redesigned guest fighter in
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, or a brand-new title in the long-forgotten(by Rare) series.
