We have some great news for Sonic the Hedgehog fans, as Netflix will be adding the fan-favourite Sonic X anime series on the 1st of December; the caveat is that it is only confirmed to become available in North America.
Sonic X originally aired in 2003 and ran for a total of 78 episodes throughout three seasons, and immediately became a fan-favourite series, although some people find the question localisation of the anime, handled in North AMerica by 4Kids Entertainment, to be somewhat questionable.
With Paramount Pictures' Sonic the Hedgehog live-action movie releasing in February, it really is the perfect time for Netflix to make the Sonic X anime series available — especially since the anime and the upcoming movie actually have some similarities in the plot; mainly Sonic coming to Earth, but it's still something.
