Square Enix president Yosuke Matsuda told people to be on the look out for this year’s E3, where the company is said to be giving out more details regarding this project. Speculation has already begun and people are trying to figure out what Square Enix is hiding under its sleeve.

Since Tomb Raider and Kingdom Hearts are completed, the company does not have too many options on its next game. There are two big possibilities for the next project, the super secret Avengers project or the remake of Final Fantasy VII, both which have been very quiet.

Square Enix has had Final Fantasy VII on hold for a while now, claiming that no information would be shared until after the release of Kingdom Hearts. With the upcoming Avengers: Endgame movie being released in April 26, the company may be planning on using the hype of the film to push its game.

Which of these two options do you think Square Enix will be announcing? Or is there another game that you think could have been under works?
