It seems that the Nintendo Switch will not be the only platform to get Square Enix's
Octopath Traveler, as the game has been rated in Korea for PC.
According to sources,
Octopath Traveler was rated for PC by the Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea. What gives this information even more credibility is the fact that the game is listed as published by Bandai Namco, who are the ones usually publishing Square Enix games in Korea.
Earlier in March we also found out that
Octopath Traveler was getting a prequel title that wouldn't be releasing for the Nintendo Switch, but for iOS and Android devices, further proving that Square Enix plans to expand on the series and aren't making Nintendo's console their only platform of choice.
Octopath Traveler is definitely a game that needs more recognition, and it being ported to PC and getting a prequel on mobile devices is a move that aims to widen the game's demographic. Hopefully we'll get some official news on the matter soon.
