One of the many things that Nintendo fans just can't get over about the Nintendo Switch's Pro Controller is the fact that it doesn't allow for them to connect a microphone or even a headphone; as it doesn't feature a 3.5mm audio jack.
This issue is non-existent when playing in handheld mode, but some users prefer playing on their TVs while also wearing headphones. The only way Nintendo Switch users have to play their games on their TVs while wearing headphones, is by sitting close to the console itself and connecting their headphones directly to the console or their TV; both being as equally impractical.
Well, for those players who still dream about owning a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller that includes an audio jack, PDP has got you covered, as they have introduced their new Nintendo Switch Faceoff Deluxe+ controller — which solves the headphone problem by including a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The PDP Nintendo Switch Faceoff Deluze+ controller is officially licensed by Nintendo and allows players to connect their headphone via the 3.5 mm audio jack — which also supports USB-chat. Users can even adjust the volume using the controller's D-pad.
Users will also be able to swap the controller's faceplate, giving it a unique interchangeable style; although the controller only comes with the one purple faceplate.
Perhaps the only downside — or advantage, depending on your point of — is the fact that the Home and View buttons have been swapped with the + and - buttons, which could cause some confusion amongst users who are already accustomed to the Nintendo Switch's button layout.
For those who want to purchase the Nintendo Switch Faceoff Deluxe+ controller, the controller is
currently available on Amazon for $24.96, which is also a fraction of what the official Nintendo Switch Pro controller retails for.
