Yakuza: Like a Dragon was finally released last week for pretty much every platform out there, including Xbox Series X|S; on launch day, no less. While players will still have to wait a little bit longer for the PlayStation 5 version, the game is currently available on Sony's PlayStation 4.
For those not familiar with the series, Yakuza: Like a Dragon is a brand-new entry that introduces Ichiban Kasuga as the new main protagonist, and has even taken the liberty to change some things in regards to gameplay; introducing turn-based combat, but keeping most aspects seen in previous titles.
The game was released in Japan earlier this year, and Sega decided that they would be adding an English dub to Yakuza: Like a Dragon. To everyone's surprise, one of the actors revealed to join the game's roster was none other than legendary Star Trek actor George Takei.
Takei's role in the game is actually that of a supporting character, playing Masumi Arakawa, who is some sort of mentor for Ichiban Kasuag, who is played by Kaiji Tang. Interestingly enough, their characters interact quite often in the game, but they never actually met.
Today Sega has released a behind the scenes video for Yakuza: Like a Dragon, who sees George Takei and Kaiji Tang interacting for the first time, and talking about their first gigs in the film industry, while also revealing some details about the characters they play in the recently released title.
