The dungeon doors swing open once more as Dark and Darker kicks off Early Access Season 6, and this time, it’s all about team-based PvE. The newly introduced Adventure Mode gives players a co-op-focused dungeon crawling experience, perfect for exploring with friends. With the trade market temporarily disabled for the first two weeks, the emphasis this season is on personal discovery and the thrill of loot earned through gameplay.

Expect a deeper, more immersive dungeon experience this season. The devs have added a fresh batch of monsters, revamped dungeon modules, and a full slate of new quests—all designed to breathe more life into the dark corridors beneath the surface. It’s all part of the team’s bigger vision of crafting the ultimate online fantasy simulator.
To celebrate the launch of Season 6, the developers are running a full Twitch Drops campaign, where players can earn exclusive in-game rewards just by tuning into Dark and Darker streams. Six separate campaigns are scheduled, with each lasting 48 hours:

How to Get Twitch Drops
To participate, simply link your Twitch and Dark and Darker accounts:

Create a character and enter the game lobby.

Press ESC > Options > Account > Link
to connect your Twitch.

Watch any Dark and Darker stream during an active campaign.
Once your accounts are connected, drops are enabled, and rewards will be tracked in your Twitch inventory. After claiming them, hop into the lobby to receive your loot—just switch to the character selection screen and re-enter if they don’t appear right away.

- Fixed an issue where after defeating a Nightmare Demon Dog or a Nightmare Frost Skeleton Guardsman, leaving and re-entering the rendering range could cause unintended sounds to play from their corpses.

Game Updates
- New PvE only ‘Adventure Mode’ has been added to the game!
- The risk/reward balance including loot drops, monster difficulties, and other settings for all the game modes have been adjusted to give varying risk to reward profiles.

General Balance Updates
- The Armor Rating curve has been modified to give slightly less PDR in the early part of the curve.
- Cooldown time reduction bonuses are limited to a maximum cap of 65%.
Class Balance Updates
- Casting a spell with Time Distortion equipped now applies a -30% Action Speed debuff.
- Sorcerer’s Stone Skin duration changed from 10 seconds to 15 seconds, and its physical damage reduction bonus changed from 10% to 15%.
Item Balance Updates
- Random modifiers have been significantly modified.
- Weapon damage for most weapons have been updated.
- The weapon animation for the Club has been improved.
- The draw speed of the Crystal Sword has been slightly improved.
- The gear score of items have been readjusted. Helmets, gloves, and boots have had their gear score slightly increased. Weapons and crafted items have had their gear score normalized.
