It’s 197X, and the most dazzling game show in the world is about to begin. Welcome to Last Flag, a wild new 5v5 multiplayer shooter where players battle for fame, fortune, and their flag in the glitziest version of capture the flag ever made. Revealed during Summer Game Fest, Last Flag is being developed by Night Street Games, an indie studio co-founded by Mac and Dan Reynolds yes, Imagine Dragons' very own singer and song writer.
Built from the ground up for one purpose to capture the flag Last Flag offers high-speed matches that last 20 minutes or less and deliver nonstop action, clutch saves, dramatic flag runs, and buzzer-beating plays. There are no eliminations here: when a player is taken out, they’re vacuum-tubed off the set and reappear in the green room, ready to launch back into the fray.
"Dan and I grew up playing capture the flag in the woods at night with flashlights, friends, and lots of adrenaline,” said Mac Reynolds, Night Street Games CEO. "Last Flag is our attempt to honor that magic brought to life by an incredible dev team.”
Set in a funk-soaked, retrofuturistic 1970s universe, players step into the role of Contestants in a stylized televised showdown hosted by enigmatic media mogul Victor Fex. As the cameras roll, teams hide their flag, scout out the enemy’s location by controlling radar towers, and attempt daring flag steals that demand coordination and style.
Key Features For Last Flag Include:
10 Unique Contestants: Each with their own flair, like Masako the screaming archer, Soo-Jin the stealthy thief, and Julius Reeves with his trap-based Jail Cell ability.
Strategic CTF Gameplay: Every mechanic supports flag strategy—radar towers, intel reveals, and deceptive hiding spots offer dynamic team play.
Themed Outdoor Arenas: Maps are full of nooks, terrain, and secrets, making every match a mix of exploration and quick skirmishes.
