NIS America and Wazen's sylish action spy comedy game—
Assault Spy—is a hack and slash that sees players controlling hapless spy Asaru, or reckless CIA Agent Amelia as they try to uncover the secrets of the Negabot mega corporation.
Earlier in May,
Assault Spy was released for Early Access on Steam as the developer Wazen wanted to have the gaming community help them make their new title a memorable game—by getting as much feedback as possible from players that wanted to get involved. While not much is known about the game, we do know that it will feature two intertwined sides of one story depending on who players decide to choose to begin the adventure.
So far we've only seen gameplay of Asaru, which is likely to be more combat-focused than Amelia's side of the story, and all of the flashy combos he can pull off against waves of security robots from the Negabot corporation. We also know that the game's development is expected to be completed by Fall of this year.
As of yet, Wazen only needs to show some gameplay of Amelia, who is supposed to have a more stealth-focused campaign, so that's probably what they are focusing on right now since Asaru's gameplay looks to be pretty much complete. Today NIS America shows off some of the flashy combos that Asaru can link together in new action-packed gameplay trailer for
Assault Spy. If you want to get Early Acces for the game, head over to the
