Zoloi, the same independent studio that brought us the 1987 cult classic point-and-click adventure game
Shadowgate, have just announced today
Argonus and the Gods of Stone; expected to release for the PC at some point
this Summer.
In
Argonus and the Gods of Stone, players will take the role of Argonus as they find themselves being stranded on a remote island in the Aegean Sea. The game is a first-person adventure that pays homage to fantasy movies from the 60s and 70s like
Jason and the Argonauts and other epics based on Ancient Greece tales.
The game will also feature some intriguing puzzles for players to solve, a story narrated by
The Princess Bride and
Who Framed Roger Rabbit?'s very own Betsy Brantley, and a beautifully-rendered Greek isle with mythical beasts for players to defeat.
