It looks like another leak has ruined a potential E3 2018 surprise, and again, it's the fault of the Korean Game Ratings Board. In 2016,
Tekken 7 producer Katsuhiro Harada explained why he thinks that the board is "
the worst" in a simple Tweet: “
Before we export [a game], we have to submit the data to a ratings board that’s connected to the South Korea government. However, what actually happens is that every time even though it’s confidential information, the ratings board leaks info to the media.”
This time, the Korean Game Ratings Board has leaked the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC versions of
Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition.
Borderlands was released back in 2009.
Gearbox Software PR Manager Austin Malcolm has confirmed that the developer responsible for
Aliens: Colonial Marines, Duke Nukem Forever, and the
Brother in Arms series will show us something during the E3. Many players are hoping to see the return of the
Brothers in Arms series and it would be somehow disappointing to present this leaked remaster as Gearbox’s only big E3 news...
