While some juicy details on Gearbox Software’s new looter shooter
Borderlands 3 have been already released, we're still waiting for our first good chance to take a closer look at the game's core gameplay.
According to Gearbox, our wishes will be fulfilled soon, as "
the first Borderlands 3 gameplay will be streamed at borderlands.com and on the Borderlands Twitch channel starting at 10am PDT / 1pm EDT / 6pm BST on May 1." Apparently, the event will feature "
the [...] showing of Borderlands 3 gameplay, as well as commentary from the Gearbox development team on everything from the new Vault Hunters and their respective skills to interplanetary travel and sweet, sweet loot."
As a reminder,
Borderlands 3 will be releasing on September 13th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC as an Epic Games Store exclusive at launch, but the intense shooter will also be available on Steam and other major digital distribution storefronts half a year after its big debut, most probably in April 2020.
In preparation for the
Borderlands 3 event, take a look at the game's announcement trailer below:
