Ashes of Creation is a new MMORPG coming in 2019 that is being developed by Intrepid Studios. We have only recently learned about the game and are very excited for it, though there is still much we don't know about the game, we wanted to share with you some of the features in the game that we think will make it stand out from other games in the genre!

#5: Monster Coin System

Not much is known about the unique Monster Coin System other than that players can participate in open world events as monsters for special rewards. There will be 3 different levels of monsters players can become/encounter, these things are also stated in the video down below:

Legion monster events
Legion are common events that occur for Nodes up to the Village stage. This might include a horde of zombies rolling across the countryside finding something or someone to feast on. Players who wish to keep their advancements will need to be vigilant.

Elite monster events
Elite events occur for nodes that exist between the Village and Metropolis stages. This level of event would include something along the lines of a dungeon level bosses and mobs coming into the world to pillage and destroy specific centers of activity.

Epic monster events
Epic events are of truly fitting proportions. These events occur randomly in the world as well as in realms where nodes have advanced to the City and Metropolis stages of development. This would be a legendary boss awoken from their long and deep slumber: A mighty dragon perhaps, whose sole purpose is to plunder to punish those who have summoned his malice and hate.

With there being three different levels of monsters that players can become, we think that it will be very fun to play the villain for a change and could be one of the bigger features that could set this game apart.

#4: Player Housing

Players will have the ability to survey and develop land anywhere in the world. Which means you can be a pioneer deep in the wilderness, build the home of your dreams, and work the land to cultivate resources and supplies.Or stick with civilization and safety in numbers and purchase a home within the confines of a village and watch your investment grow as that village turns into a city.

Smith

In the game players will be able to to develop their plot of land anywhere in the world as they see fit. So players can work and focus on special skills such as farming, animal husbandry, or own your very own smithy. The thing that we like is that you will be able to specialize your land to maximize your profits or create it to be a comfortable home.

#3: Caravan System

The Caravan System in Ashes of Creation has both great opportunity and risk for players. Caravans will be the way that players can transfer goods from one node to the other to turn it into a profit. Initiating a caravan from one city to another will create a caravan that players will need to defend while it moves along its route to the selected destination. The video down below will show a lot of Caravans, so it is obvious that they will play a big part in the progression of nodes.

These caravans will create a static PvP zone around them, allowing players to engage in PvP with the defenders while the attackers attempt to destroy the caravans in order to loot the content. We are hyped about the risk and reward that will come from protecting/raiding a Caravan.

#2: Sieges

One of the features we are most excited for in Ashes of Creation is the Siege feature. In a Siege, the player has an opportunity to participate in massively multiplayer siege warfare. Since castles are likely the world’s most limited resource, it will be a task to secure and hold them. Involving hundreds of players on a single battlefield, sieges will employ many moving parts and intricate design features. Check out the video down below that shows the Predator class in action, watch as the predator infiltrates a metropolis, to secure a relic before a siege.

Another thing to note is that because of the difficult nature of taking and keeping a castle there are great rewards available to the players for their efforts. Castles will allow players to exert control over nearby lands and allow for the development of unique buildings in the nearby towns.

#1: The Nodes System

The Nodes System is something that Ashes Of Creation will be doing to do a very unique take on the typical MMO experience. The world structure is dynamic and built to react to the actions of the players. Cities will rise and fall, their populations based on the history of the world as the players create it. Check out both of the videos down below that give us just a taste of what is to come!

What we like with the Nodes system is that as the world’s NPC structure is established in real time, players will have the ability to destroy what they’ve created, paving the way for new development, new populations, and real change. Political strife and intrigue will also be playing a very real role in the structure of your world.

To the end this list we would like to say that we are very excited for Ashes Of Creation, we will be covering more news for the game as it comes. We think that this game will have a great impact on the MMORPG community and do very well for itself. To get more information and create an account, click here!
