Blizzard Entertainment has announced updated subscription pricing for World of Warcraft in several regions, including the United Kingdom, Kazakhstan, Georgia, and Turkey. The changes will take effect on June 22, 2026, following a regular review of global and regional market conditions.
Current pricing will remain in effect until the effective date, after which new rates will apply to subsequent billing cycles. Blizzard is encouraging players to purchase or renew subscriptions before June 22 to lock in the existing prices.

Details on non-recurring 60-day game time options and adjustments for other services (such as pets, mounts, and tokens) will be provided closer to the June 22 date.
These adjustments reflect Blizzard’s ongoing evaluation of regional economics, currency fluctuations, and market conditions. Similar pricing reviews have occurred in other regions in the past as part of standard business practice.
Players in the affected countries who wish to avoid the price increases are advised to renew or extend their subscriptions before June 22, 2026. Once the new rates take effect, they will apply to all future billing cycles.
World of Warcraft continues to see strong engagement in 2026, with the recent Midnight expansion and ongoing seasonal content keeping the player base active. The pricing changes are localized and do not affect other regions at this time.
Blizzard has not announced any changes to the core game experience or subscription tiers themselves only the cost in the listed currencies. For the most up-to-date information, players should check their Battle.net account or the official World of Warcraft website closer to the effective date.
There have also been many rumors about Blizzard announcing a Classic+ server or gamemode for the game. It seems that both Blizzard and World Of Warcraft are preparing for something big. What is Blizzard upping the ante for? We will find out in due time.
