In this day and age, MOBAs are constantly thinking of new ways to progress the trend and come up with creative ways to play, and Smite is no different. Recently they announced that a new RPG game mode which pits 3 players against a dangerous environment of creatures and enemies will be coming to the game soon. It's titled "The Trials of King Hercules", and players can get some nice rewards for completing it.

One of the really cool things about this is the fact that, even if 2 people decide to leave the game or get disconnected, simply having 1 player in the match will make sure everyone gets some solid rewards. For the most part, the general playthrough will give you some relatively standard loot, but when players beat the hard mode boss, which is the Lernean Hydra, they get the truly amazing loot that makes your knees buckle.
