STARCRAFT SOLDIERS Comic Helps Expand The STARCRAFT Universe
The real-time strategy video game developed by Blizzard, StarCraft, is getting its universe expanded by the launch of a new comic book, StarCraft Soldiers. Here is more on the comic.
Developer Blizzard's real-time strategy video game StarCraft, has a huge amount of story and lore, making it one of the most story-heavy RTS games out there. The game's universe is about to get bigger with the release of the new comic book StarCraft Soldiers #1.
Dark Horse Comics is publishing this comic book written by Jody Houser and Andrew R. Robinson with illustrations by Miguel Sepulveda. Thanks to GameSpot, we have a preview of the first six pages of the comic.
The story revolves around Lieutenant Shivani Singh and his group of soldiers fighting on the front lines while learning more about the Zerg. This is the second project Dark Horse Comics publishes in the StarCraft universe.
Their first project was StarCraft: Scavengers which had Terrans go into a Protoss starship and scavenge for supplies. However, Soldiers will not be connected to any other comic, perfect for newcomers. Soldiers hits shelves on January 23.
