It's official! The Japanese exlcusive game Trinity Trigger will be releasing to North American audiences! XSEED Games has made the announcement that it will be responsible for the North American localization and publication of FuRyu's Trinity Trigger. The video game is expected to become available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 this May!
Crunchyroll describes the games storyline:
Trinity Trigger takes place in a world named Triniti. Long ago, both gods of order and gods of chaos fought over the world. As the world crumbled, each god chose a warrior to fight for them and the winner would ultimately decide the world's fate. The game follows three characters: Cyan Erleus, Xantice Geldine, and Elise Quoyse. Cyan is the warrior chosen by the god of chaos while Xantice is the warrior chosen by the god of order. Elise set out on a journey to rescue Cyan.
Trinity Trigger itself supports local co-op, and offers a throwback experience to the golden age of role-playing games in the 1990s. Yura Kubota, Yuki Nobuteru, and Hiroki Kikuta (both of whom worked on the Secret of Mana) are the game's creators. Raita Kazama (who worked on Xenoblade Chronicles) was also involved (Octopath Traveler).
