FIFA 17 Cover To Be Decided By Fan Vote
EA decided to do away with the fan vote for the cover of this year's Madden but that shift in policy hasn't been extended to their FIFA franchise. Check out a new trailer after the jump which explains which soccer superstars are eligible to appear on the cover.
Fan vote for the cover of FIFA 17 opened earlier today and will close on July 19 at 11:59 PST. James Rodriguez, Anthony Martial, Marco Reus, and Eden Hazard are the four choices fans have to choose from. Rodriguez plays for Real Madrid C.F., Martial plays for Manchester United, Hazard wears a Chelsea FC shirt and Reus laces up his cleats for Borussia Dortmund.
EA Senior FIFA Producer Nick Channon stated, "James, Martial, Hazard, and Reus represent exciting, attacking football and epitomize the innovative play that fans can expect in FIFA 17. We’re excited to see fans rally around their favorite players and see who they select as the cover star for the franchise, and the footballer who will represent FIFA 17 globally."
