Thanks to major titles such as
PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds and
Dota 2, Valve just broke its own record for most concurrent users online on Steam.
The previous record held a rather impressive 16 million concurrent users online, but the record which was recorded on the
steam charts, boasted a massive 18.5 million concurrent users online, which means 18 million people was playing a video game through Steam or logged onto Steam at the same time.
PUBG has been an extremely influentiel game and it actually peaked at 2,8 million players at the time the record was broken. Games like
PUBG,
Dota 2,
CS:GO,
R6: Seige and
GTA V will continue to dominate Steam.
