After months of beta tests, Vostok Games'
Fear the Wolves leaves Early Access and moves to a full release today. Vostok is a Ukrainian video game developer based in Kiev founded in March 2012 by former employees of GSC Game World, the acclaimed creators of the cult classic
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. trilogy.
At its core
, Fear the Wolves is a battle royale game, but unlike the vast majority of modern
PUBG clones, it's played from the first-person perspective. Just like in every battle royale game every made, you'll be dropped into a wasteland with nothing but your wits, fists, and whatever you can find to protect you. Your goal is simple: getting to an extraction helicopter that accepts only one passenger.
Other players won't be your only problem in
Fear the Wolfes, as every game will also force you to face the irregular and unpredictable spread of deadly radiation, which organically closes in on players with different stages of toxicity, all of which can be battled and avoided in different ways, not to mention the titular wolves. Be sure to take a closer look at
Fear the Wolves in its launch trailer down below:
Fear the Wolves is a competitive Battle Royale FPS by Vostok Games, bringing unique elements inspired by classic FPS games to the world’s hottest genre. The game drops players, as duos or lone wolves, into the oppressive environments of a radiation-ravaged Chernobyl spread across a section of the 25km2 map. To secure the top spot, players will need to worry about more than just other survivors. Across the hostile wastes, everyone is threatened by deadly anomalies and the dynamically-changing weather – voted for by players and spectators, both in-game and on streaming platforms. As time wares on and day turns to dusk, survivors must stay on their toes and constantly adapting to new situations.
Fear the Wolves launches TODAY, exclusively on PC.
