This train won't stop anytime soon, as THQ Nordic just announced the acquisition of Bugbear, developer responsible for the FlatOut and Wreckfest series, and is already announcing yet another purchase, this time taking over Logic Artists, maker of the critically acclaimed turn-based strategy Expeditions games, stealth action game set in the spy-thriller genre of the 90’s Clandestine, and Windows 7 Mobile strategy adventure Conquistador.
The Expeditions series includes two bestseller games, Expeditions: Conquistador, that gives you a chance to embark on a journey in the historically-themed New World and explore the island of Hispaniola and the mainland of Mexico in two unique campaigns, and Expeditions: Viking, in which you become the new leader of a small and weak Norse village with ambitious plans to cross the sea to explore the kingdoms of the British Isles.
In the last few years, the THQ Nordic empire rapidly expanded, as the global publisher currently has an extensive catalogue of over 100 owned popular franchises, such as Saints Row, Dead Island, Darksiders, Metro, Titan Quest, Biomutant, MX vs ATV, Kingdoms of Amalur, Time Splitters, Delta Force, Destroy All Humans, Jagged Alliance, Homefront, Alone in the Dark, SpellForce, and now the Expedition series.
