Bloober Team and Gun Media announced in October that their mysterious Project Méliès, which was teased for the first time back in March, is in fact Layers of Fear 2. Unlike its 2016 predecessor, the sequel takes place on a boat, at least partially. The Polish game developer is aiming to recreate the atmosphere of Alfred Hitchcock's weirdest movies and Georges Méliès' spectacular illusion shows.

The second Layers o Fear 2 trailer, titled Time Waits for No One, focuses solely on the interior of the aforementioned boat. LoF2 will be a horror title, so you should expect to hear and see plenty of incredibly laud noises and gross images. Quite interestingly, the video is narrated by Tony Todd, the famous actor who voiced The Fallen in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and played prominent characters in The X-Files, Smallville, Charmed, and Star Trek: The Next Generation, just to name a few.

According to Gun Media, Layers of Fear 2 will be unleashed in 2019 and it sounds like it will be released first on PC. Console players shouldn’t be worried though, as the first title is also available for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One. Be sure to take a closer look at the sequel to one of the best-selling 2016 multiplatform horror experiences in its all-new gameplay trailer down below:

Layers of Fear 2 is coming to PC in 2019.
