The last few days has seen several prominent Japanese visual novel makers take to social media to reveal that they're received notices from Valve that their games are in danger of being removed.

The National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCoSE), formerly “Morality in Media, an anti-pornography lobby group based in Washington, DC is claiming credit for Valve's actions. The group released a statement on May 18th that was titled "Victory" and detailed a 2-year campaign to get Valve to ban certain adult games.

Meanwhile, the gaming community is up in arms over the belief that the targeted was unfair as games such as Grand Theft Auto and The Witcher 3 remain untouched.

Valve reportedly gave the Japanese indie developers two weeks to censor any nudity in their games or face being banned.
