Detroit: Become Human will be finally released this month, and there are many reasons to anticipate the latest Quantic Dream's game which is apparently the biggest game in the history of the studio responsible for
Fahrenheit, Heavy Rain, and
Beyond: Two Souls. The PlayStation YouTube channel has released a new "making of" video that gives us a better look at the upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive.
The featurette focuses on the artistic side of David Cage's next opus-magnum, showcasing some of more than 37 000 animations that were created during the game's development. Just like in
L.A. Noire, there will be some investigation and interrogation sections of
Detroit and the beautiful soundtrack composed by Adam Hochstatter will illustrate them and the game's dark, futuristic tone well for sure.
Quite unexpectedly, the cast of
Detroit features Clancy Brown, the actor you've seen (or heard) in
Superman: The Animated Series (he played Lex Luthor for over twelve years),
Thor: Ragnarok (Surtur), and many games, including
God of War III (Hades),
Lichdom: Battlemage (Roth), and
Mass Effect: Andromeda (Alec Ryder).
Detroit will be one of his biggest roles involving motion-capture.
Travel to the near-future metropolis of Detroit – a city rejuvenated by an exciting technological development: androids. Witness your brave new world turn to chaos as you take on the role of Kara, a female android trying to find her own place in a turbulent social landscape.
Detroit: Become Human will launch on May 25, 2018 exclusively for PlayStation 4.
