Concrete Genie is a game developed by Pixelopus and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, which is expected to release on the
8th of October as a PlayStation 4 exclusive title.
The game was initially announced during the Paris Games Week in 2017 and immediately had people talking about how beautiful it looked.
Concrete Genie doesn't only look pleasently aesthetic, but it also allows players to paint beautiful landscapes as one of the game's main gameplay mechanics.
In
Concrete Genie players will take control of a bullied teen named Ash — who sets out on a quest to restore his hometown of Denska from Darkness — and will be able to paint the city's street walls with vibrant colours by making use of the controller's motion controls.
Ahead of tomorrow's release, the PlayStation Underground crew are joined by the Creative Director and Art Director of
Concrete Genie to share over 15 minutes of gameplay that show off the game's beautiful art style and how creative players can be when paiting these colourful landscapes.
