During their presentation at Tokyo Game Show 2018, Kojima Productions dropped an brand new trailer for Death Stranding - which introduces us to the villainous "Man In The Golden Mask" who is voiced by Troy Baker. Below is a recount of what the trailer consists of - though you're welcome to skip through it and simply watch the trailer for yourself.
Sam Bridges, Norman Reedus' character, is seen hauling somebody atop his back when he comes across a mysterious, hooded figure. At this point its evident that this character is the role of accomplished voice actor Troy Baker as; the cloaked man pokes fun at Bridges, claiming to have been expecting him - only without company.
He then goes full-on badass, states "It's no biggy. You can always tweak the rules a bit," removes his golden, skull-like mask and shoves it into the ground - revealing that he somehow has the ability to manipulate the world's terrifying, oily residents. An enormous monster sprouts up from the ground, similarly garbed in a mask of gold, roars aloud and then the trailer cuts.
The trailer, as per usual, leaves much to be answered - but does a great job building hype for the game itself. Watch it for yourself below:
