Sony have been considering to release their next generation console 'PlayStation 5' soon, but not for now as the Ps4 has been rocking well with sales and alot of games are set to be released throughout this year.
We are covering here some of the official and Non-confirmed details about the PS5, check them out below;
1. According to
Twinfinite, PS5 is considered to have Backward Compatibility, What does this mean? PS5 device processor can adjust itself accordingly so that it can run the older applications i.e you can play Ps4 games on the new console.
2. Release Date? As for now no exact details on when the Ps5 console will be released, but we might get news at E3 event in June. Make sure to stick here at GameFragger for news on that. #UPDATE Sony has confirmed the console will be released in March 2020.
3. Price? Sony has not set a price tag for the console but Mark Cerny, the lead architect said the price will be gamer friendly possibly around $300-$500 according to our prediction.
4.On the Proccessor/Specs
Wired detailed that it will contain a 7nm 8-core Ryzen CPU that supports ray-tracing, is 8K compatible and works with the AMD Navi 20 GPU. This suggests that Sony is using the AMD Ryzen 3600G, unveiled at CES 2019.
5.Upcoming PS5 Games? as at now the only confirmed game coming for the console is Horizon: Zero Dawn 2.
6. Graphics. The system will be driven by a custom version of Radeon's Navi line which supports ray tracing. Ray tracing is a rendering technique for generating an image by tracing thepath of light as pixels in an image plane and simulating the effects of its encounters with virtual objects.
7. PSVR Support Confirmed. PS5 will indeed support PSVR according to Cerny, the console will support the latest version of PSVR headset.
8. PS5 will indeed support 8k gaming. So gamer's will need to go with the current 8k tv trend, this is an improvement from the PS4 which supports 4k gaming.
