Every month, PlayStation gifts those who are subscribed to their premium service, PlayStation Plus, a couple of free games. For instance, for the month of December, the free games that are currently available to PlayStation Plus subscribers include LEGO DC Super-Villains, Mortal Shell, and Godfall: Challenger Edition. Though, the latter did have developer Counterplay Games in hot water — find out more on that here.
This month, what's up for grabs for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 players includes Persona 5 Strikers, Dirt 5, and Deep Rock Galactic (via PlayStation Blog). The latter two titles will be available across both generations while the former may be confined to PlayStation 4 only, we'll just have to wait and see.
Persona 5 Strikers is an action RPG developed by Omega Force and P-Studio, published by Sega. The game crosses over Koei Tecmo's Dynasty Warriors and Persona 5, which launched back in 2016 and is set half a year before the events of Persona 5 Strikers.
Dirt 5 is the latest instalment in the long-running Dirt offroad racing video game series developed and published by Codemasters, originally released back in November 2020. Deep Rock Galactic is a co-operative first-person shooter developed by Ghost Ship Games and published by Coffee Stain Publishing, originally releasing back in May 2020.
