Sucker Punch has had fans anxiously waiting for Ghost of Tsushima — their next big title — for quite a long time now, and it really does seem like all of the waiting will pay off once the game finally becomes available, as a PlayStation 4 exclusive title, on Friday the 17th of July.
Ghost of Tsushima is a game that pushes the PlayStation 4's hardware almost to the limit, and will offer some tight gameplay mechanics like the ones Sucker Punch is so well-known for; further proof of this is the relatively recently released Ghost of Tsushima presentation, which gave players a taste of what's to come.
This year has been quite kind for PlayStation 4 users in general, as Ghost of Tsushima and The Last of Us Part II have been on the sight of players ever since each of these games were officially announced, and both have had players waiting longer than they wish they did.
The Last of Us Part II, in fact, is launching in two more days, and reviewers are pretty much singing its praises already; with a very solid 96/100 on review aggregator site Metacritic. Ghost of Tsushima, on the other hand, is exactly one month away from finally hitting store shelves worldwide.
Now that we're exactly a month away from the launch date of Sucker Punch's Ghost of Tsushima, PlayStation has shared a small batch of breathtakingly beautiful in-game screenshots, captured on a PlayStation 4, in order to give players a little something to keep looking forward to its release.
Have a look:
In 1274, the fearsome Mongol Empire invades the Japanese island of Tsushima and slaughters its legendary samurai defenders. Jin Sakai is one of the last survivors of a noble samurai clan. To combat his overwhelming foes, he must pioneer deadly new fighting techniques--the way of The Ghost--and wage an unconventional war for the people of Japan.
Ghost of Tsushima is expected to release exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on the 17th of July.
