When God of War is released next month, the gameplay will have been given a significant overhaul that distinguishes it from prior instalments in the series. One of the most notable additions is the inclusion of Kratos' son Atreus in the combat and puzzle-solving. With prior games being solo affairs, this new element allows Cory Barlog and his team to illustrate the evolution of the character while keeping the gameplay fresh and dynamic.
