Santa Monica Studios' new
God of War title is definitely one of the best games the
God of War series has seen in a very long time; considered by many to be the best entry in the series. In fact,
God of War even won Game of the Year at this year's The Game Awards, beating out strong candidates like
Marvel's Spider-Man and
Red Dead Redemption 2.
One of the many factors that have contributed in making the new
God of War a masterpiece—besides the beautiful graphics, tight controls, and fantastic story—is the game's soundtrack; that sets the mood from the second the game begins all the way through the ending credits.
The latest behin the scenes video for Santa Monica Studio's
God of War focuses on the game's brilliant soundtrack, particularly on the songs that represent Faye; Kratos and Atreus' wife and mother, respectively. These songs were interpreted by Faroese singer Eivør Pálsdóttir, who did a wonderful job bringing Faye's songs to life; which accompany the player throughout the entirety of their journey.
