RUMOR: Retailer Affirms That THE LAST OF US PART II Will Release In October, 2019
A Peruvian retailer by the name of LawGamers recently made public a promotional poster for The Last of Us Part II which states that the highly-anticipated sequel will release in October.
There have been so many supposed leaks which state that the highly-anticipated The Last of Us sequel will release this year that it's difficult to believe otherwise.
The Last of Us Part II was revealed to the world back in December of 2016, had multiple trailers release since then, and yet still hasn't had its release date officially announced. However, there have been countless sources which all corroborate that the release will take place at some point this year.
Starting at the least reliable and working our way up; PlayStation Music's YouTube channel stated in the description of a track from The Last of Us Part II that the game would release this year. An Amazon Italy listing which specifically mentioned it taking place in late-March (which, at this point would be shocking). A former IGN editor, by the name of Alanah Pearce, tweeted with utmost certainty that the game would drop this year. Gustavo Santaolalla, the composer of The Last of Us and its sequel, teased that the game would be arriving "very soon".
Now we have another source to add to the list - this one bolstering a more realistic date than late-March. A Peruvian gaming retailer, known as LawGamers (via GamingIntel), recently made public a promotional poster for the game which, in the lower-left corner, states that the game will arrive in "Octubre 2019" - that obviously being October of this year.
