There's no denying that the vast majority of PlayStation 4 owners is eagerly anticipating
The Last of Us: Part II's release. Unfortunately, while the sequel was announced over two years ago, Naughty Dog still hasn't revealed when exactly the players will have a chance to find it in stores, as YouTube channel PlayStation Music has recently spoiled that the story-driven title might be coming in 2019.
According to the new llisting posted on the Amazon Italy website,
The Last of Us: Part II is indeed coming in 2019 (exclusively to PS4), on March 29, 2019, to be exact. Although it could be a placeholder, Amazon normally picks placeholder dates on the last day of the respective quarter and Match 29th is definitely not the last day of March, and the fact that it falls on a Friday also makes sense.
It may be the right time to cool your jets, as the date is by no means confirmed by Sony or Naughty Dog. Still, this leaked release date is pretty reasonable, as FromSoftware's
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is the only major video game release of the second half of March with another PS4 exclusive
Days Gone hitting stores a month later, on April 26th. In the meantime, please remember that it's just a rumor.
In The Last of Us Part II, Ellie is now 19 and has found a semblance of peace and normality living in Jackson. She’s had a chance to be a teenager and forge lasting relationships. When that peace is disrupted by a violent act, Ellie is thrust into a brutal journey of retribution, fueled by a need to bring those that have wronged her to justice, pushing her to her very limits.
The Last of Us Part II still hasn't been given an official release date.
