Kingdom Hearts III almost exactly a year ago and the long-awaited 
Kingdom Hearts III Re:Mind DLC comes out today! However, that's isn't all that's going on in the 
Kingdom Hearts world at the moment.
Game director Tetsuya Nomura recently confirmed (via 
PushSquare) that there are multiple new 
Kingdom Hearts projects in the works right now. Apparently, there are two new teams at work on something
 Kingdom Hearts-related, a mobile teams, and the team that just finished off work on 
Kingdom Hearts III.
Nomura said that one of the projects is coming 
"surprisingly soon." Shortly after this Q&A, a new 
Kingdom Hearts mobile game was announced. 
"Project Xehanort" is the working title for
 "an all-new Kingdom Hearts experience" that's coming to iOS and Android devices in Spring 2020.
This was announced via Twitter (
@ProjectXehanort) as well as a new page 
over on Square Enix's official website. "Why did he become the seeker of Darkness?" the site reads and essentially confirms that the game will serve as an origin story for the franchise's main antagonist.
