A new gameplay trailer was recently released revealing that seven new characters have been added to the roster for BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, including the final character for Team RWBY. The “Y” team member, who will be available through a free download for all players, is Yang Xiao Long, making her the last member for Team RWBY following Ruby, Weiss, and Blake.

In the gameplay trailer, Yang can be seen wielding her iconic weapon Ember Celica, which can be used to execute quick tactical attacks. The voice of Yang is reprised by the same voice actor, Barbara Dunkelman, who previously voiced her in the RWBY anime.

Other than Yang, some other new characters were displayed in the gameplay trailer, which can be viewed here. The remaining six characters are split between two new character packs. In order to download these new characters, gamers will need to purchase the packs. For character pack 2, the new characters include Aegis from Persona 4 Arena, Jubei from BlazBlue, and Carmine from Under Night In-Birth. The third character pack includes Naoto from Persona 4 Arena, Hakumen from BlazBlue, and Vatista from Under Night In-Birth.

The free download for Yang Xiao Long in BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle is now available for Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
