CVG has reported that Killzone 3 is set to arrive in stereoscopic 3D and will make use Sony's motion wand (rumoured to be named "Arc").

According to their unnamed contact, the third title in the Killzone franchise will launch as part of a big 3D push for the PlayStation 3 this Christmas.

The information from CVG's source comes after PSM3 Magazine went on record earlier this year stating that Killzone 3 information would be released in the "coming months."

CVG had hoped that Killzone 3 would be the big announcement during the last episode of GameTrailers, but it seems that those hopes were in vain as the big announcement was actually for SOCOM 4 (read the official announcement here).

No official word yet from Sony, but any Killzone news is good news for fans of the PS3 exclusive FPS.
