FromSoftware has always been known for creating incredibly challenging and punishing titles that make even the simplest opponent difficult. Demon's Souls was one of the first outings in this style of gaming, and it has held up since its release back in 2009 for the Playstation 3.
Now, following titles like Dark Souls, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and Bloodborne, Demon's Souls, is back and ready to bring its difficulty to a new generation of players with the release of the Playstation 5. Considering it's been over a decade since the game was released, it's important that people know what to expect in terms of improvements and changes from the original title.
Recently, a brand new Playstation State of Play video has released that showcases a total of 12 minutes of brand new gameplay footage that is sure to excite fans of the game and fans of the genre as well. The game has been confirmed to include a new "Fractured Mode" along with two separate modes that focus on either frame rate or fidelity for the game.

Demon's Souls is set in a fictional dark fantasy world, taking part mostly in the southern medieval kingdom of Boletaria, that has been consumed by a thick, mysterious Fog that is creeping ever out to blanket the entire world. The Old One, a colossal immortal flying Demon, has been awoken and with it Demons have come forth to consume the souls of men. Only when The Old One is lulled back to eternal slumber will the fog dissipate and the world be restored.
Demon's Souls is coming to the Playstation 5 on November 12th!
