Matt Walker, one of the producers of Capcom, has been in charge of confirming that, in effect, Devil May Cry 5 is set after Devil May Cry 2.
The French media Actugaming.net mentioned this detail, and the players went to Walker to know if the information was true or not: the answer was affirmative.
This fact is even more striking for fans, given that the previous installments had not taken up the thread of the story following the events of DMC2. Many fans of the saga are wondering if, then, we will have the opportunity to see Lucia, the co-star of this installment.
DMC2 had mixed reviews with critics and an equal amount of positive/negative reviews from fans.
DMC5 has build a lot of hype since it was announced at E3 earlier this year. In other news, we have covered the future DLC plans of the game.
Devil May Cry 5 will be available on March 8, 2019 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
