Devil May Cry 5 is the latest installment in Hideki Kamiya's
Devil May Cry series developed and published by Capcom.
While we have known for a while that Dante would be showing up in the game as a playable character, we didn't really get to see him in action as much as we would've liked. Nero has been getting most of the attention thus far, which isn't really a bad thing, but fans want to see the original protagonist.
Well, Capcom has granted fans their wish and this new trailer focuses on Dante, Son of Sparda, making fans know that this is his gig.
Nero is also getting a new trailer, though, and we get to see him wearing Mega Man's classic Mega Buster and having more fan than he probably should with it. It really is nice to see that Capcom is pushing Mega Man into their other popular series and Nero wearing the Mega Buster is something strangely gratifying.
With Capcom releasing
Mega Man 11 this October, the
Resident Evil 2 remake coming out in January, and
Devil May Cry 5 finally releasing in March of next year, it sure is a great time to be a Capcom fan.
Take a look:
A new demonic invasion has begun with the seeds of a demon tree being sown in Red Grave City. Now fully equipped with his trusty Red Queen and Blue Rose, and a new arsenal of rad robot hands thanks to his partner Nico, Nero must rise up to this new impossible task. With such insane amount of energy and destruction emanating from this surprise invasion, the stage is now set for the latest chapter of the “Sons of Sparda” saga.
Devil May Cry 5 will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on the 8th of March in 2019.
